Association of Aortic Stiffness with Left Ventricular Remodeling and Reduced Left Ventricular Function Measured by MRI: The Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA)

Association of Aortic Stiffness with Left Ventricular Remodeling and Reduced Left Ventricular Function Measured by MRI: The Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA)

Aims : Associate the aortic stiffness assessed by MRI with left ventricular reshaping and myocardial deformation.
high aortic stiffness is associated with reduced systolic and diastolic function of the left ventricle.
High aortic stiffness is also associated with dysfunction in remodeling of the left ventricle in men (only).
